“ I heard about this place over a year ago and I have been craving ribs since July 4th so I finally made my way. I ordered my food online great feature which was very easy BUT somehow the ribs in the pick two plate changed to turkey. I was sooooo disappointed when I got home and realized there were no ribs. It wasnt their fault I reviewed my order online and the ribs werent listed. No idea how I made that mistake, sad sad day for me. Fortunately the food I did get was REALLY good. The turkey was juicy, not dry at all the pulled chicken was seasoned exceptionally well and also juicy also tried the Nashville hot chicken sandwich which was tasty and not too too hot which was perfect for me. When it comes to BBQ the sides are as important as the meats and this place did not disappoint! If the baked beans and mac cheese are not top notch then the restaurant can easily loose 12 stars... fortunately no worries in that department. The mac cheese was some of the best Ive had. Highly recommend! Also ordered collard greens and again, definitely recommend. Tried the banana pudding and honestly, it wasnt my favorite. It has caramel of which i am not a fan. I wouldnt order it again. Happy with the ability for onlinecontactless ordering. I place the order online and let them know I was otw it took me about 20 mins to get there and I still had to wait about 10 mins for them to bring out the food. A bit of a wait but fortunately I did not have anywhere to rush off to. Now I just have to go back for ribs but I guess thats not a bad thing! Have pics, will update ”
“ Friday 12.27.24 we stopped for a quick lunch. She had the chili and I had the not a sloppy Joe sandwich. We love being able to order at the counter and refill our own drinks and not be waited on. The food was excellent that sandwich was one of the best that Ive ever had. And the different sauces were fantastic. Honestly, we were surprised at how good the food was. And the staff were very, very polite and most helpful. We were in Sandy Springs for the holidays visiting family. I grew up in Sandy Springs in the 70s 80s yes, its really grown and changed. We highly recommend this City Barbeque in Sandy Springs! ”

“ This is the original location in metro Atlanta. Marvin Watts is the manager and head BBQ smoker. and a fine job he does. Go on Tuesdays when they have the Rob Special. Aside from being great ribs they are only 1.79each. And get the corn pudding as a side. My mens group goes here once a quarter. ”

I usually get the pulled chicken sandwich, smothered in their sweet city BBQ sauce, served with the seasoned green beans, and creamy mac and cheese. Ooooo Chile! Soooooo good! The staff is great as well. When you go, tell Jordan that Tiffany sent you. His service is always top tier, and he TRULY aims to please.
